For Fall 2025, you can find a variety of in-person internship opportunities at NASA facilities across the United States. Some exciting examples include (keep in mind that new roles are added frequently!):

Quantum Sensing Technology Intern: Supporting the development of innovative sensors for NASA missions.

Knowledge Management Intern:
Helping NASA document and apply valuable lessons learned.
Supersonic Inlet Design and Analysis Intern: Assisting with aerodynamic modeling and testing.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility requirements vary slightly depending on the specific internship program, but generally, you must:

  1. Be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Be at least 16 years of age at the time of appointment.
  3. Be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree-seeking student (high school, undergraduate, or graduate level) at an accredited educational institution, on at least a half-time basis.
  4. Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.9 on a 4.0 scale (some OSTEM internships may require a 3.0 GPA).
  5. Be able to work a minimum of 480 hours before graduation for Pathways internships.
